Can QSS cancel Vi Ult? ›

A tip regarding QSS and knock-up cc (e.g. Vi ult) that most people don't know. As you already know, QSS removes all forms of CC except one main one: knock up/airborne. What happens if you use QSS while airborne is that you won't be able to move but it allows you to use mobility abilities.

Apparently, when you get knocked up, you can cleanse. Since the damage is on knock down, which does not happen since you cleansed, you take no damage from the ultimate itself. You spend more time in the air, but no damage from the ultimate itself.

Malz, Warwick and skarner have "suppression" in their ult. Its a form of CC that's only breakable by Quicksilver Sash. stun/silence/knockup all work.

Cleanse will not remove non-CC effects, such as: damage over time, attack speed reductions, defense shredding and grievous wounds. Quicksilver Sash is an alternative to Cleanse that will remove all of these effects, but it does remove Ignite, even though it is a damage over time.
