Dr. George W. Weimar, 47, of 3417 52nd Moline, well-known Moline Urologist, died Friday, March 10, 1995, at Trinity Medical Center, East Campus, Moline. Services are 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Trimble Funeral Home, Moline, and 10 a.m.

Tuesday at Christ the King Catholic Church, Moline. Burial is in Moline Memorial Park. Visitation is 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Dr.

George W. Weimar memorial fund which will be established in his name. Dr. Weimar was born May 27, 1947, in LaCrosse, the son of Walter and Louise Naegle Weimar. He married Virginia Miller June 19, 1971, in Iowa City.

He graduated from Aquinas High School, LaCrosse; University of Wisconsin at LaCrosse; and the University of Iowa Medical School. He served his internship at the University of Oregon Hospital in Portland, and his residency at the University of Iowa Hospital, Iowa City. He was a Lt. Commander in the United States Navy, and served at the Naval Hospital in LeJeune, North Carolina. He was a partner in the Urology Group, Moline, which he joined in July, 1981.

He was a member of the Medical Staffs of Trinity Medical Center, Moline and Rock Island; I- lini Hospital, Silvis; Genesis Medical Center, Davenport; and Hammond-Henry Hospital, Geneseo; and had served as Chief of the Surgical Sections at both Trinity Medical Center and Illini Hospital. He was a member of the American Medical Association; the Illinois State Medical Society; 1 the Rock Island County Medical Society; the American Urological Association; and the American College of Surgeons. Survivors include the widow; a daughter, Lisa Weimar, at home; a son, Jeffrey Weimar, at the University of Iowa; a sister and brother-in-law, Mary Ann and Donald Lyden, LaCrosse; and nieces and nephews, Randy, Robert, Kathy, Maria, Donnie, Deanna, and Paul Lyden. 17, 1911, in Chilhowie, the son of Joseph M. and Susan Bohnam Martin. He married Wenda Setterberg July 10, 1932, in Cambridge. He had been employed for 34 years at the former International Harvester Farmall Rock Island, retiring in 1 1969. He served as a U.A.W.

He was born May 9, 1909, in Rushville, the son of Hugh B. and Elvira Howe Young. He married Marguerite Doud Young Aug. 5, 1931, in Rock Island. He was co-owner of Hilman and Young Dental Lab, Rock Island, and for 50 years was a Dental Tech.

He was a member of the former Moline Turners, Rock Island Conservation Club, TPI, American Association of Retired Persons, and the Federation for the Blind. He enjoyed bowling, fishing, stamp collecting and was a Chicago White Sox Fan. Survivors include nieces, Elna Jean Young, Birmingham, and Rosemarie Johnson, Galesburg; nephews, Donald Young, Sioux City, Iowa, and Richard Sturgeon, Galesburg; and several cousins; great-nieces; and greatnephews. MOLINE Berneice Stogsdill Berneice M. Stogsdill, 87, Moline, died Saturday, March 11, 1995, at Trinity Medical Center, East Campus, Moline.

Services are 11 a.m. Tuesday at Gibson Funeral Home, Port Byron. Burial is in Bethesda Cemetery, Hillsdale. Visitation is 6 to 8 p.m. Monday.

A memorial fund has been estab- lished. The former Berneice Smith was born Jan. 4, 1908, in Hillsdale, the daughter of William T. and Martha Sheppard Smith. She married Samuel Stogsdill Sept.

24, 1926, in Rock Island. He died Sept. 22, 1964. She was employed as the salad maker at the former Towers Restaurant, Moline, and was a waitress at the Three Restaurant, Moline. She enjoyed dancing and being around people.

Survivors include a daughter, Joyce Bartrom, Moline; sons, Jerry Stogsdill, Coal Valley, Jack Stogsdill, hom*osassa Springs, and Robert Stogsdill, Moline; 10 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren. Floris Andrews Floris E. Andrews, 84, Geneseo, died Friday, March 10, 1995, at Hammond Henry Hospital Skilled Care Unit, Geneseo. The former Floris Wilson was born Dec. 27, 1910, in Mason County, the daughter of William and Lena Misch Wilson. She married John A. Andrews Sr. April 8, 1930, in Cambridge.

She enjoyed sewing and crocheting. Survivors include the widower; daughters, Corrine R. Buysse, Kewanee, Marlene J. Shaff, Miami, and Susan E. Butler, Memphis, a son, John A.

Andrews Geneseo; 13 grandchildren; and seven greatgrandchildren. Elder George Cooper Elder George J. Cooper, 67, of 448 Dwight Kewanee, died Saturday, March 11, 1995, at the home of a friend. Services are 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Rux Funeral Home, Kewanee.

Burial is in Evergreen Memory Gardens, Kewanee, with military rites conducted. Visitation is 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday. Memorials may be made to Reorganized Church of Jesus Latter Day Saints, where he was a pastor. He had been ordained in 1952 by David Williams and Edward Jones.

Mr. Cooper was born Sept. 4, 1927, in Des Moines, Iowa, the son of George R. and Wanetta Leach Cooper. He married Elaine L.

Ensley April 9, 1946, in Kewanee. He was a member of American Legion Post 31 and VFW Post 8078. He was a World War II Army 32 Inf. Req. 7th.

Survivors include the widow; a daughter, Debra Van Watermeulen, and a son, Terry Cooper, both of Kewanee; grandchildren, Cassandra Nutt, Catherine and John Cooper, and Danelle VanWatermeulen; and a brother and sister-in-law, Bernard and Mary Ann Cooper, Kewanee. Mrs. Gittings died Friday, March 10, 1995, at Coventry Village, Sterling. The former Laurie Moen was born Nov. 22, 1908, in Duluth, Minn. She married Oscar Opsal in Chicago.

He died in 1957. She later married Chalmer Gittings May 1, 1972, in Chicago. He died in November 1987. She and Mr. Gittings moved to Prophetstown in 1972.

She had been employed as an executive secretary for Sun Oil for 40 years, retiring in 1965. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Yorktown. Survivors include a stepdaughter, Barbara Frankfother, Sterling; stepsons, Donald Gittings, Flossmoor, and Dale Gittings, Loves Park, nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; a brother, Ole Moen, Duluth, and many nieces. and nephews.

She was preceded by a daughter in infancy. Nellie Storm Nellie Gwendolyn Storm, 93, Tampico, died Saturday, March 11, 1995, at home. Services are 1 p.m. Monday at Garland Funeral Home, Tampico. Burial is in Tampico Memorial Cemetery.

Visitation is noon to service time. A memorial fund has been established in her name. The former Nellie Aldrich was born Sept. 22, 1901, the daughter of Arthur and Minnie Olsson Aldrich. She married Peter H.

Storm Nov. 22, 1953, in Tampico. He died Aug. 30, 1961. She was a member of the Tampico United Methodist Church.

Survivors include a stepson, Peter H. Storm, Downers Grove, and a niece, Jean Thompson, Normal, Ill. Russell Peterson Russell B. Peterson, 79, of 300 E. Center Cambridge, died Friday, March 10, 1995, at Hammond-Henry Hospital, Geneseo.

Services are 1 p.m. Monday at Cambridge Lutheran Church, where he was a member. Burial is in Rosedale Cemetery, Cambridge. Visitation is 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at Stackhouse-Moore Funeral Homes, Cambridge.

Memorials may be made to the church. Mr. Peterson was born Sept. 14, 1915, in Cambridge, the son of Emil and Minnie Flessenkemper Peterson. He married Margaret Philhower June 18, 1939, in Kewanee.

She died April 5, 1982. He married Myrtle Carlson July 16, 1983, in Cambridge. He had been employed as a tractor mechanic and had worked at Vinckel Farm Equipment and Rishel Son, both in Cambridge, Pritchard Implement, Geneseo, and then Hyster Company, Kewanee, retiring in 1980. He was a member of Cambridge Senior Citizens, where he was treasurer for many years. He enjoyed traveling with his wife.

Survivors include the widow; a daughter and son-in-law, Jane and John Heberling, Moline; a son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Diane Peterson, Denver; a stepson, Rolland Carlson, Lynn Center; a foster daughter, Jean Ann Rodger, East Moline; four grandchildren; a great-grandchild; seven stepgrandchildren; 16 stepgreat-grandchildren; and a sister, Marjorie Moore, Cambridge. Mrs. Wherry died Friday, March 10, 1995, at Mercer County Hospital, Aledo. She was born April 15, 1907, in Cave City, Ky. She married the late Thomas B. Davis in 1922 in Cave City.

She married the late Alden Wherry in 1961 in Missouri. She had been a cook at the Wells Cafe in the Old Hotel, Aledo, during the 1940s and She moved to Joy, where she and Mr. Wherry, operated the Joy Tap until 1969. She collected and sold antiques. She enjoyed gardening, canning and yard work.

She had mowed her own yard up until this year. Survivors include daughters and a son-in-law, Beverly and Larry Barnhouse, Keithsburg, and Juanita Davis, Joy; sons and daughters-in-law, Rollon and Marion Davis, Bettendorf, and Charles and Doris Davis, Las Vegas; 11 grandchildren; 21 greatgrandchildren; two great-greatgrandchildren; and a sister, Genia Denison, Cave City. 12, 1921, in Peoria. He died Oct. 11, 1984. She had graduated from Browns Business College, Galesburg. She was a member of Aledo Columbian Club and Aledo Garden Club.

She was a member of the Golden Links Club of the church. She enjoyed reading and her home, Verdurette, where she lived since 1921. She was also an accomplished seamstress and an avid bridge player. Mr. Endlich was born Jan. 3, 1906, in Rock Island, the son of George Sr. and Christina Welnitze Endlich. He married Nona Fisher March 19, 1966, in Davenport.

He retired in 1971 as a foreman from the John Deere Planter Works, Moline, where he had been employed for 43 years. More recently he had cooked on two boats operated by Williams Marine Enterprises. He was the oldest member of the American Legion Post 246 firing squad. He enjoyed adventures. Once he and his friend canoed down the Mississippi River from Rock Island to New Orleans in 29 days.

He also enjoyed 1800's history and after retirement, worked at the Pioneer Village in Scott County Park. He built the forge in the black smith's shop, a fireplace and oven in one of the park cabins and refurbished a depot as well as a caboose. Survivors include the widow; a daughter and son-in-law, Tami and Blake Gottschalk, Chanhassen, a stepson, Michael Fisher, Bettendorf, a stepdaughter, Patricia Ronnebeck, Davenport; and five stepgrandchildren. She was a graduate of Iowa State University with a degree in nursing. She practiced and taught nursing for many years at the former St. Luke's Hospital, Davenport, and later served as school nurse. at Bettendorf Middle School, retiring in 1987. She was a member of the Handicapped Development Center Booster Club and the Daven-1 port Lutheran Home Auxiliary.
